1. What are the elements of a good learning situation?
A good learning situation has three key elements to it.
- First it should be meaningful; it should connect to real-life situations that the student can encounter in their daily lives.
- Second, it should be open-ended; meaning there is no right or wrong answer and lends itself to various tasks.
- Finally, it should be complex; the students should be mobilizing various resources.
Also, the tasks should be varied and have different levels of complexity required to complete them.
